The value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room surpassed our expectations with its size and the private enclosed garden was a delightful bonus. The location was peaceful and quiet, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
The only suggestion I have for the breakfast is to offer a wider variety of options.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with a clean and well-equipped room that exceeded our expectations. The village location and cosy pub atmosphere added to the charm, while the staff, particularly Barbara, were warm, friendly.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider range of kitchen facilities, such as a sieve or colander, additional saucepans, and wooden/non-stick spoons.

We stayed in Garden Room 2 for a delightful 4-night getaway. The room was airy, spacious, and filled with natural light. We especially enjoyed the private terrace and garden, perfect for unwinding. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Suffolk coastline, and the quiet surroundings ensured a peaceful stay. The nearby Dark Skies Village provided breathtaking stargazing opportunities. The food at The Fox Inn was exceptional, and the staff provided friendly and attentive service. We will definitely return if availability permits!

We had a fantastic Christmas getaway at this charming inn. The kitchen and bathroom were modern, clean, and well-equipped, making it easy for us to settle in and feel right at home. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, with picturesque fields stretching out before us. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, allowing us to make the most of our holiday.
The only downside we found was the lack of blackout curtains or blinds in the kitchen area, which meant the early morning light did seep in. However, the bedroom area did have curtains, albeit not blackout ones.

Lovely accommodation for a short-notice weekend away. Convenient for exploring the beautiful Suffolk coast. Clean room, comfortable bed, and a nice little kitchenette for self-catering. the pub next door served excellent food and drink. Great team of staff who were friendly and welcoming. the location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing break.
Limited parking spaces in the car park. It could be difficult to find a spot if returning in the evening.

During our new year stay, we really enjoyed the comfortable bed in the garden room and the delightful little garden that came with it. The location was also perfect for us, as it was conveniently located just off the main road, making it easy to visit nearby attractions such as Dunwich, Minster, Aldeburgh. Another advantage we appreciated was the excellent food served in the pub on our first night.
We found the parking situation to be a bit of an issue. There were only a few spaces available in the carpark, and some visitors were inconsiderate and took up more space than necessary.

We had a delightful 4-night stay at this peaceful rural location. The shower is wonderful and the hot water plentiful. The street lighting is minimal, allowing for a mesmerizing view of the stars. The nearby Fox Inn offers outstanding food served by friendly staff. The accommodation is tastefully furnished with a sunny decked area overlooking fields. The kitchenette is well-stocked with everything needed for a weekend stay. The staff were welcoming and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner herself. It was truly a lovely experience!
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the Suffolk coast, with easy access to popular destinations like Southwold, Aldeburgh, and Sutton Hoo. the room was lovely, tastefully furnished, and had a well-equipped kitchenette. the bathroom was fabulous, with plenty of hot water and a decent shower. the pub next door offered exceptional food and value, and the beer was also impressive. It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay, providing a relaxing atmosphere.
The limited menu at the pub had a lot of fried options, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

I must say, the value for money at this little gem of a property was fantastic. The room was beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions and beaches. But what really made the stay exceptional was the friendly and attentive staff at the neighboring pub, who made us feel right at home.
Breakfast choices could be more varied.
